Salisbury teen missing; boyfriend wanted

SALISBURY — The Salisbury Police Department is looking for a girl reported missing from the 1000 block of Whisperwood Drive.

Keiry Nalleli Serrano, 15, was born Nov. 7, 2003. She is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds. She has black hair and black eyes and was last seen the evening of Jan. 6 at her home.

Police believe she is with her boyfriend, Eduardo Carlos Mendez, 22, who has black hair. He was last known to be driving a black 2003 Lexus with North Carolina tag PJF-8984.

On Jan. 7, the girl’s family spoke with Mendez, who said he was heading to Virginia. He was asked to come home with the missing teen and said he would come back.

Since then, neither of them has been seen or located.

An arrest warrant was issued for Mendez charging him with felonious restraint and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
