Another cold morning starts us off on a day that will be mostly sunny and 53, with light and variable wind.

Tonight brings a 30 percent chance of rain, mainly towards morning. It will be mostly cloudy and 40.

Thursday looks like a wash-out. We have a 100 percent chance of rain before 2, and the rain could be heavy at times. After 2, we’ll have showers. Patchy fog will stick around until around 1 p.m. The high will be 54, with northeast wind at 5-9 mph. Three-quarters to an inch of rain is expected.

Thursday nigh has a 90 percent chance of showers, with a low of 49 and east wind at 7-9 mph, shifting to the south after midnight. Another half to three-quarters inch of rain is possible.

Friday has an 80 percent chance of showers before 2 p.m. It will be 56, with south wind at 10-14 mph, gusting up to 25 mph. Friday night has just a 20 percent chance of showers before 11 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 36.

Saturday will be sunny and 50, with a low of 31 and mostly clear skies.

Sunday will be sunny, too, with a high of 54. The low will be 34, with partly cloudy skies.

Christmas Eve will be sunny and 53. It will be a mostly clear night, with a low of 33. Santa should be on schedule.

Christmas Day will be mostly sunny and 52.
