Letter: ‘Nutcracker’ performance full of vitality and energy

- This is the only production of “The Nutcracker” in the region that uses a full 49-piece orchestra.
I want to shout “Bravo!” all over again when I think of the Piedmont Dance Theatre’s performance of The Nutcracker Ballet at Keppel Auditorium this past Sunday afternoon. The sheer exuberance, vitality and energy of the performers gave the time-honored story a new thrill. I was spellbound!
Thank you to Director Rebecca and Daniel Wiley, to the many talented dancers and to Conductor David Hagy and the Salisbury Symphony for a truly outstanding performance!
