Livingstone women fall to Lees-McRae, 83-74

BANNER ELK — Lees-McRae defeated Livingstone, 83-74, in women’s college basketball action here Saturday afternoon.

Livingstone (1-3), which scored 90 points in a win over Morris on Wednesday, was held to 29 points in the first half and trailed the Bobcats, 37-28, at the break.

Daisa Harris led the Blue Bears with 25 points, followed by Kedra Bradley with 15 and Asia Green with 14.

Bradley also grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds for Livingstone.

Meg Crawford led Lees-McRae (2-1) with 27 points and 12 rebounds.

Livingstone returns to action on Monday, hosting Puerto Rico-Bayamon at 6 p.m.
