Central Cabarrus students charged with having gun on campus
CONCORD — Two students were arrested Friday for possessing a firearm at Central Cabarrus High School, according to the Concord Police Department.
Charged were Jalen Rashun Dixon, 17, of 528 Garrison Court, Concord, and Sieaira Lillian West, 17, of 809 Old Charlotte Road, Concord.
Investigators said Dixon brought a gun to school and gave it to West.
A school administrator found the firearm in West’s backpack,
Investigators later determined that the firearm was reported stolen.
Dixon was charged with having a weapon on school property, a felony, and possession of a stolen firearm. West was charged with felony having a weapon on school property.
