Submitted by Betty Morgan

The Rockwell High School Class of 1950 held its 68th class reunion at blue Bay Restaurant in Salisbury on Sept. 28, 2018.

Ten class members and six guests attended. The group was welcomed by president Norman File, who also gave the blessing before lunch was enjoyed by all.

Norman recognized those lost since last reunion: Harold Earnhardt, Virginia Alexander, Peggy Daniel, Ella Mae Wagoner, Eula Mae Artz and our very special teacher, Jean McCombs. He also shared information bout class members who were unable to attend.

Norman and others shared with the group some of the humorous and enjoyable memories of our school days.

Those attending included Norman and Effie File, Martha and Lonzo Arey, Betty Morgan, Jenette Driggers and Mavis Shue, Frances Hand, Peggy Troutman and Ann Troutman, Jim Wagoner, Lee and Sue Beaver, Betty Rose and Jake Setzer and Angelo Wagoner.

The planning committee included Norman File, Betty Rose Setzer, Martha Arey and Betty Morgan.
