Extension holiday program, ‘Christmas Remade,” Nov. 9
Published 12:00 am Friday, October 26, 2018
The Extension Holiday Program will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Rowan County Agriculture Center, 2727 Old Concord Road, Salisbury. The theme is, “Christmas Remade.” The focus will be on decorating for Christmas using things that we have gathered over the years or things that we already have around the house.
We’ll show you how to make beautiful holiday angel necklaces, Christmas ornaments and an enhanced Christmas card. Each participant is asked to bring an old holiday card with them to the program. This will ensure that they make a card they will like. And of course, we’ll have holiday appetizers.
So, mark your calendars for Friday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. to get ready for the upcoming holidays, decorating and gatherings. Call ahead and reserve your seat at 704-216-8970 by Monday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m.
