SALISBURY — City officials say a lane of Jake Alexander Boulevard will be closed beginning Monday because of a sidewalk project.

The closure is scheduled to last for two weeks between Brenner Avenue and Harrison Road.

A contractor is building a sidewalk connecting the greenway and the sidewalk near Brenner Avenue.
