Hailey Fesperman’s tee time is 10.  Victoria Lewis starts at 10:20, with Megan Graham on the tee at 10:40.

Lewis is a junior. The other four Mustangs are seniors. Rhett Teems coaches the team.

East’s best three scores will count toward the team score.

Carson’s Sophia Brown qualified for the regional as an individual and tees off at 10:20. Carson’s Kaiya Addison tees off at 10:30.

A.L. Brown’s Anna Cheek was an individual qualifier and tees off at 11.

Twenty-six golfers in each regional advance to the state tournament.

The top three teams automatically qualify, plus 17 individuals.

If a school does not finish in the top three, but qualifies at least three individuals, that school will also advance to the state championship as a team.
A top-3 team could also qualify its No. 4 and No. 5 players, if they are among the top 17 individuals qualifying.

The 3A state tournament will be held at Longleaf in Southern Pines on Oct. 22-23.
