South Rowan plays tonight; other Rowan football games rescheduled

SALISBURY — Only one Rowan County high school is going through with its football game tonight after storm-related power outages closed area schools today.
All others are rescheduling their games. Here’s the list:
South Rowan v. Thomasville: The varsity game will be played tonight. The game is not at Thomasville High School. It will be played at 201 Stadium Drive, Thomasville. The JV game has been rescheduled for Monday, October 29 at 6:30 p.m.
Carson v. East Rowan: Monday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.
North Rowan v. Chatham Central: postponed, yet to be rescheduled
Salisbury v. Ledford: Monday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. Float building and the homecoming halftime will take place at Monday’s game, but the parade will not be rescheduled.
West Rowan v. South Iredell: Monday, Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
