Edwin Wallace Sprinkle and Barbara Edmonds Sprinkle of Salisbury celebrated their 70th wedding annivesary Oct. 2, 2018.

The Sprinkles were united in marriage Oct. 2, 1948 at the Greenville County Courthouse, Greenville, S.C. Edwin, a World War II veteran, retired from the Salisbury VA Hospital. Barbara is a retired EMS paramedic.

The couple have six children, Paul Sprinkle and wife Carla of Salisbury, Stephanie “Sissie” Graham and husband Derek of Salisbury, David Sprinkle of Salisbury, Ronnie Sprinkle of Weaverville, the late Jimmie Sprinkle and the late Malinda Sauerwein. They also have nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
