Letter: No, no, no to renovations; yes, yes, yes to building a new Knox

Isn’t it time to give the students that live within the Salisbury city limits a bright and shiny and updated new middle school they can be proud of?
Knox and the “city school students” have always been pushed to the bottom of the list — the last middle school to get activity buses, the last middle school to have internet access (and we got that thanks to a hardworking PTA many years ago), buildings that are health hazards and bathrooms that children don’t want to use because of the bad odors.
Enough with the constant talk about making Knox better.
Let’s give the Salisbury city school population something to talk about — a modern bright middle school as nice or better than our beautiful new central office.
