Police looking for suspect of Family Dollar robbery

SALISBURY — The Salisbury Police Department is searching for a man who robbed Family Dollar on Jake Alexander Boulevard Thursday night.
The armed robbery happened at about 9:45 p.m. on Thursday. The suspect is a black male in his 30s, weighing 150-160 pounds and is about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He also has a goatee.
The suspect stole cash from the clerk and a safe.
Police said they do not have surveillance of the robbery.
Family Dollar is located at 455 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
