‘3 Days Ablaze’
KANNAPOLIS — 3 Days Ablaze” is a weekend revival at the Kannapolis Congregational Holiness Church, 717 Robin Ave., today and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. The speaker will be Rev. Frederick Shumba of Zimbabwe, the Continental Representative for the Congregational Holiness Church for The Continent of Africa and founder and pastor of World Harvest Congregational Holiness Church in Zimbabwe. He oversees more than 100 churches in different African countries.

Homecoming at Christiana Lutheran
Christiana Lutheran Church, 6190 US Hwy 52, will celebrate its 147th homecoming on Sunday. Pastor Junior Gather of Lyerly Memorial Reformed Church will be the guest preacher. Dr. Gaither is a 1982 graduate of East Rowan High School. Worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by a covered dish lunch. Rev. Carl Haynes is host pastor.

Cnacelled: Bethel Colony at The Arbor
The Arbor United Methodist Church, 5545 Woodleaf Road, hosts men from the Bethel Colony of Mercy on Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service. This is a Christian based group which seeks to break the chains of addiction, since 1948. A covered dish lunch will follow. Rev. Craig Sefa is host pastor.

CLEVELAND — Lebanon Lutheran Church, 1200 Thompson Road, will celebrate homecoming Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service. The church was founded in 1893. Dr. David R. Keck, a former pastor at Lebanon, will conduct the service and deliver the message. There will be a covered dish meal following the service.
