I wish to make a correction regarding the statements I made at the most recent City Council meeting on Aug. 21.

I made reference to Officer Benjamin regarding what I considered to be his inappropriate behavior. At the time I am apologizing for my error in judgment.

Chief Stokes, Captain Thompson and Detective Martinez are to receive thanks for listening, educating and providing me with policy procedures. I am grateful and appreciative of this learning experience.
