Letter: Appreciation from the Veterans Honor Guard
Published 12:00 am Saturday, September 1, 2018
This is a letter of appreciation to all those in connection with making it possible for us to have our headquarters in the West End Plaza.
First, we want to thank Lt. Gov. Dan Forest, special guest of the day, for taking time from his busy schedule to attend the ceremony. Secondly, we are grateful to our county commissioners who made it possible for us to have our own office.
Thanks also goes to State Reps. Carl Ford, Larry Pittman and Harry Warren, Judge Marshall Bickett, Board of Education Chairman Josh Wagner and member Dean Hunter, and Chamber of Commerce representatives who organized the ribbon cutting. We appreciate those who also attended the open house for the dedication of our headquarters.
By having a common office location, we can come together as a group to discuss ways we can better serve and honor our fallen comrades and their families. We strive to remember all our veterans. Many thanks to all who join with us to honor them too.
