LINWOOD — Old Smith Grove Baptist Church will observe homecoming on Sunday. The 11 a.m. speaker is Rev Donald Holt Sr; lunch is at 1:30 p.m.
The 3 p.m. speaker is Rev. John Geter of Salem Baptist Church of Lexington.
Revival services run Monday through Wednesday, Sept. 3-5 at 7 p.m.

White Rock AME Zion homecoming and revival
White Rock AME Zion Church will begin homecoming and revival services on Sunday. Rev. Dr. Debra J. Hall, pastor of Salisbury New Hope AME Zion Church, will be the 3 p.m. speaker. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m.
Revival services run Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 4-6 at 7 p.m.
Rev. Dairl L. Scott Jr., pastor of Center Grove AME Zion Church in Tobaccoville, will be the guest speaker.

Antioch Baptist homecoming and revival
Antioch Baptist Church’s annual homecoming and revival services begin Sunday. The 3 p.m. service guest speaker will be Rev. Roger Williamson of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Mt. Ulla.
Revival services run Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 4-6 at 7 p.m.
Tuesday-Wednesday: Pastor Molly Davis of Burning Bush Holiness Church in Vancesboro;
Thursday: Bishop Terry Cherry of Mt. Moriah Holiness Church in Mooresville.

Purpose Driven Life classes In My Father’s House
Purpose Driven Life classes, led by the Rev. Roosevelt Jenkins of In My Father’s House Ministries, will be conducted from 10-11 a.m. on the first and second Thursday of each month, at Brookdale Assisted Living, 2201 Statesville Blvd.
The next study dates are Sept. 6 and 13.
