Granite Quarry kicks off its food drive Saturday
GRANITE QUARRY — The town of Granite Quarry will kick off its food drive Saturday and expects it to run through December.
“We will be collecting all nonperishable foods and taking them to local shelters and food banks,” a town news release said. “All donations will stay in our area.”
In addition to food, the town is asking residents to consider donating blankets, toiletries, laundry supplies, socks, diapers, baby wipes and other necessities.
The drop-off site for items is Town Hall, 143 N. Salisbury Ave.
