Letter: No place for hate
Mayor Al Heggins says we should not rush to judgment regarding the desecration of the Fame monument. I agree.
The police should conduct an investigation to identify the perpetrators of this offense, and justice should take its course.
The mayor also states, “We don’t know who did what.” I disagree. We may not know the “who,” but we do know the “what.” The evidence speaks for itself.
There is no place for hate of any kind in our town — real or imagined. Heartfelt thanks to Clyde and the volunteers for a speedy cleaning.
