The Citadel

Logan Miller of Kannapolis was one of 163 Citadel cadet-athletes named to the 2017-18 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll. Miller was a member of the 2017-18 Citadel men’s track and field team.

The Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll consists of student-athletes at member institutions who achieve at least a 3.0 grade-point average for the academic year while being a member of the final squad list during their sport’s traditional season. Recipients must have been eligible to compete throughout the entire academic year.

Furman University

The following local students were named to the Furman University Dean’s List for the spring semester: Maxwell Fisher, Harrison Smith and Olivia Smith.

Furman’s Dean’s List is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system.

The University of Albany

Mawata Kenneh of Salisbury graduated from the University of Albany in May.

Chowan University

Cortney Danyelle Jones of Salisbury made the Dean’s List at Chowan University for the spring 2018 semester.

Students who have attained a grade point average between 3.25 and 3.79 for the semester are awarded Dean’s List honors.
