Deadline for donations to F.A.C.T. Back 2 School drive
The Families and Communities Together Blessing of the Children worship service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church, 400 S. Long St. Youth and children may come dressed casually.
We are asking all F.A.C.T. churches to donate school supplies to be distributed to youth attending Sunday’s F.A.C.T. Program. Gloria Dei Lutheran celebrates 50th year
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1908 Statesville Blvd., will be celebrating its 50th year at its present location on Sunday. First service is at 8:30 a.m. at the outdoor chapel, and at 9:45 is fellowship and reminiscing in the Rhoads fellowship building. A covered dish luncheon will follow the service.

Homecoming at Union Lutheran Church
Union Lutheran Church, 4770 Bringle Ferry Road, will celebrate homecoming on Sunday starting at 9:30 a.m. with Holy Communion at 10:30 a.m.. Lunch will follow. Guest pastor will be Rev. Dr. Jarrod Lanning from Trinity Lutheran Church in Landis. Rev. Tom Corbell is interim pastor.

Homecoming and revival at Southern City Tabernacle
EAST SPENCER — Southern City Tabernacle AME Zion Church, 940 Long St., will observe its 119th homecoming on Sunday at 10 a.m. with Debra Hall of New Hope AME Zion Church, Spencer. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear royal blue and white attire. The Catawba Football Team will attend the service. Lunch will be served after the service.
Revival services are nightly at 7:30 p.m.

CHINA GROVE — Revival at China Grove Church of God, 413 N Franklin St., is Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. morning service and 6 p.m. evening service with evangelist Michael Ball from La Grange. Services continue Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Homecoming at historic Organ Lutheran
Historic Organ Lutheran Church, 1515 Organ Church Road, observes homecoming on Sunday. There will be a covered dish meal in shelter after the 10:30 a.m. service.
Doors of the “old church” are opened for a traditional early service every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in August.
