Rowan weather: A break after a rough evening

Looks like we’ll get a little break from the storms today, with only a 20 percent chance of showers, and that’s before 9 a.m. It will be mostly sunny and hot, with a high of 91 and west northwest wind at 3-6 mph.

Tonight has a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m. It will be partly cloudy and 68. Patchy fog may form around 2 a.m.

Friday will have a 20 percent chance of showers between 1 and 2 p.m., then a chance of thunderstorms. It will be partly sunny and 90 with light northwest wind.

Saturday will be partly sunny and 89, with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be calm. Saturday night has a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and will be mostly cloudy and 70.

Sunday will be partly sunny and 87, with a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5 p.m. The same chance of rain occurs Sunday night, with showers and storms before 3 a.m., then showers. It will be mostly cloudy and 69.

Monday will also have a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 85. The same chance of rain is possible Monday night, with showers and storms before 11 pm., then showers through 3 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 67.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and 87, with a 30 percent chance of showers. Tuesday night will be mostly clear with a low of 67 and a 30 percent chance of showers.

Wednesday will be sunny and 89.
