Liz Moomey joins Salisbury Post news staff

SALISBURY — Liz Moomey has joined the staff of the Salisbury Post as the city government and business reporter.
Moomey, who grew up in Maryland, graduated from N.C. State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in communication.
She has previously worked for North State Journal, the News & Observer and Spectrum News.
Moomey fills a position most recently held by Jessica Coates, who now works at the Mooresville Citizen.
