LANDIS — The Landis Board of Aldermen will meet tonight for its monthly business meeting.

At the town’s last meeting, the board passed a controversial budget. This week, the town will hold a public hearing to discuss a recently amended animal ordinance, and will consider calling for a public hearing on voluntary annexation requests.

The board will also discuss the annual request from Landis Baptist Church to close down certain streets for a week, and will honor local resident Rosella Ethelbert Caldwell for her 100th birthday.

The board will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in Town Hall, 312 S. Main St., Landis.
