I would like to offer my condolences to Kendal Rodgers and his family upon the loss of his wife and their mother.

I can’t imagine how it must feel to lose your wife at such a young age, someone you have been married to for more than 30 years. I hope and pray that Kendal and his family will be able to press past this terrible tragedy and that God will give them the strength to get through every day.

Truthfully, I never knew Lynn Rodgers — I only knew Kendal as he was my science teacher in the eighth grade — but I hope she rests in peace. Words can’t describe how painful it is to lose a loved one. For the rest of this week and the months after, I pray that God will give Kendal and his family peace and to heal their broken heart.
