Letter: Support fundraiser to improve SHS gym

As two of the many proud area graduates of Salisbury High School, formerly Boyden High School and Price High School, we strongly encourage all of our fellow citizens, graduates and their families to please support the current SHS Gym Project to enlarge and enhance the athletic and academic facilities at one of our oldest high schools in Rowan County.

Under the leadership of former Principal Windsor Eagle, the $1.2 million campaign is approximately 78 percent complete. Please go online at shsgymproject@gmail.com to make a gift and learn more about this magnificent project for our community.

Salisbury High School is proud to have fine athletic and academic records. Our students deserve the best facilities to help continue this tradition of excellence.

Contributions may be matched and can also be sent to SHS Gym Project, 500 Lincolnton Road, Salisbury, N.C. 28144.

Thank you for your support.
