She will bring her new book, “Lowcountry Bookshop.” There will be drinks, appetizers and conversation.

June 23: Building Your Online Platform with Alison Law

For writers who are nearing publication, this class is a must. A solid online presence and an understanding of the market is crucial to getting your book in the hands of as many readers as possible. Participants will learn the steps you need to take — and when you need to take them — to build your online author platform. Bring paper and pen to the class rather than laptops.

Law is a professional writer, publicist, and marketing and media consultant based in Atlanta, GA. She has worked for many years with authors and book publicity firms, and is a board member of the Decatur Writers Studio and the Georgia Center for the Book.
