Cannon School celebrates graduation

CONCORD – 92 seniors of the Class of 2018 celebrated Cannon School’s 20th Upper School Commencement on Friday, May 25, 2018.

The commencement address was delivered by Dr. Mark Fromke, who has practiced radiology with Charlotte Radiology since 1999. Dr. Fromke is also the proud parent of graduating senior Peter Fromke, as well as Eric Fromke ’14 and Justin Fromke ’16.

Claire Mare Christman, of Huntersville, and Alexander James Coale, of Concord, delivered Cannon’s valedictorian addresses. Claire is the daughter of Kim and Steve Christman and Alexander is the son of Melissa and Stuart Coale. Jackson Lee Cooksey, of Davidson, delivered the salutatorian addresses. Jackson is the son of Kelley and Tim Cooksey.

Cannon School is a private independent junior kindergarten through 12th grade college-preparatory institution. It attracts 1,000 students from Concord, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Mooresville, Charlotte, the University City area, Kannapolis and Salisbury. C
