The Rowan County Democratic Party will hold its monthly breakfast at 9:15 a.m. Saturday.

The breakfast will be at the party headquarters, 1504 W. Innes St., with a catered buffet of waffles.

The breakfast is free, but a donation of $10 or more is suggested. Donations will be used to support the party and Democratic candidates.

Saturday’s meeting will feature guest speaker Amanda Garrison of Burke County, a member of the board of the North Carolina Association of Educators.

Garrison will talk about the May 16 March for Students and Rally for Respect in Raleigh.

She will also share insights from her organization.
