SALISBURY — The Salisbury Police Department charged three juveniles after they nearly crashed a stolen vehicle and abandoned the car.

The owner told police he locked the Ford Taurus on Friday but believes he dropped the keys near the car. Officials say someone witnessed the three juveniles jumping out of the car and running in the 1300 block of North Main Street.

The car was recovered with no damage, officials said.

The vehicle was stolen on Partee Street between 1 and 3 p.m. The children were issued juvenile petitions.
