Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter will host a Fascinating Sisters Tea on Saturday, May 26, at Hood Theological Seminary’s Aymer Center in support of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.’s 2018 Year of Sisterhood and the 80th Anniversary.
These Sisterhood Tea events are a part of a year-long campaign for 2018 focusing on the sorority’s principle of “Sisterhood” as the organization takes time to recognize phenomenal women doing phenomenal things and continues to mark its journey to Zeta’s Centennial anniversary in the year 2020.
During the event hosted by Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter, attendees will fellowship, browse wares from vendors, and gather to celebrate sisterhood in all its forms. The chapter, along with area sororities, will recognize one of their fascinating members who consistently reflected the ideals and principles embracing sisterhood for their organization throughout the year.
“This event is a great opportunity for us to collectively take a stand for a future that is only possible when we rise in connection, support and celebration of one another as women. Our chapter is excited to participate in this event as sisterhood empowers women to be advocates for ourselves, our families and our communities,” said Raisha Cobb, chair, Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter.
