Rowan authorities ID man caught on camera breaking into Heilig Road home

SALISBURY — Rowan County authorities have identified a man who was caught on home security video breaking into a Helig Road home.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Charles June Presnell, and he has been added to the  Sheriff’s Office’s Most Wanted list.

Presnell, who was seen on video May 2, was with another unidentified person.

Presnell is driving a silver Cadillac with a taped-up and damaged rear window, the Sheriff’s Office said.

He has a lengthy criminal history and has lived in Lexington and Thomasville. He recently listed his address as being in Waxhaw.

Investigators believe Presnell is traveling along Interstate 85 and committing theft-related crimes with other unidentified suspects.
