McNeil, Manning lead Democratic races for 8th & 13th congressional districts

Democratic primaries for the congressional seats representing Rowan County so far show leaders with big leads.
With 165 of 206 precincts reporting across the 8th District, Frank McNeill of Aberdeen is in the lead over Marc Tiegel of Concord and Scott Huffman of Harrisburg.
Their vote totals so far across the district:
• McNeill, 12,405
• Tiegel, 5,068
• Huffman, 4,992
With 110 of 220 precincts reporting across the 13th District, Kathy Manning leads Adam Coker, 11,710 to 5,222. Both are from Greensboro.
The winner of the 8th District primary will face incumbent Richard Hudson in the fall; in the 13th District, the winner will face incumbent Ted Budd.
