SALISBURY — Veterans and others will celebrate Armed Forces Day on May 19 in Salisbury with a flag-changing ceremony at the Patriots Flag Honor Concourse and Memorial.

The concourse, established by the Salisbury Rotary Club, is located at the corner of Jackson and Miller streets. It has flags for all branches of the Armed Forces.

The Rowan County Veterans Council and the Military Officers Association of America will have a flag-changing ceremony.

The event starts at 10 a.m. Participants are advised to bring chairs if they would like to sit.
