Because Craig Pierce and Jim Sides consider themselves the only true believers when it comes to spending taxpayer money, I have a question for both:

What on earth were you thinking when you decided to purchase the money pit (vastly overpaying, and allowing the seller to keep the only viable part of the property which was actually making money) which you named West End Plaza — otherwise known to most folks as Jim and Craig’s Folly?

I do not always agree with some of Greg Edds’ ideas (those “gateway” arches which thankfully died a quiet death), but he along with Jim Green and Judy Klusman have done more for the county’s citizens in the last four years than the previous group in 10 years.
