Blotter: Man charged with threatening another with a gun

ROCKWELL — A man reported that shots were fired Saturday in the 400 block of Geneva Drive in Rockwell.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said the Michael Shane Sellers threatened the man with a gun.

Sellers, 50, was charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon. The shooting occurred just before 7 p.m., a report said.

In other Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• Taylor Marin Auctioneers reported Saturday that someone stole a truck at 350 Auction Drive.

• A man on Saturday reported a knife assault in the 100 block of Pineview Circle.

• A woman on Saturday reported a physical assault in the 1000 block of Puckett Drive, Rockwell.

• A 14-year-old on Saturday reported an assault in the 200 block of Tumbleweed Drive.

• A man on Saturday said he was strangled in the 700 block of Hallmark Estates Drive.

• A man on Sunday reported items stolen from his vehicle in the 300 block of Cedar Drive.

• A man said Sunday that someone stole items from a building in the 1400 block of Emmanuel Church Road, Rockwell.

• A woman on Sunday reported a break-in in the 700 block of Red Leaf Lane.

• Tammy Raymer Schenk, 46, was charged Friday with misdemeanor possession of marijuana in the 2400 block of Providence Church Road.

• Amy Michelle Shelton, 35, was charged Friday with felony possession of a controlled substance Schedule II while at the Rowan County jail.

• Summey Newman Biggerstaff, 30, was charged Friday with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 100 block of Wal Hollow Lane, Mooresville.

• Hernandez Oscar Rogel, 17, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor marijuana possession at N.C. 801 and Pear Tree Road, Woodleaf.

• Joseph Kent Waddell, 21, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun in the 200 block of Sowers Ferry Road, Spencer.

• Nekhent Supreme Ali, 36, was charged Saturday with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance Schedule II while at the county jail annex.

In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• A man on Monday said his home was burglarized in the 1400 block of Standish Street.

• A man reported a vehicle break-in in the 100 block of Gallarie Place.

• Police investigated a report of physical abuse of a juvenile on Monday in the 600 block of Linn Lane.
