Letter: Kannapolis candidate McCombs is dedicated
I heartily recommend that you cast a vote for Brenda McCombs for the Kannapolis City Schools Board of Education.
Brenda and I worked together for a number of years as church musicians and have maintained our friendship ever since. I have found her to be dedicated, intelligent, witty, dependable, always well prepared and compassionate.
Having worked for many years within the school system, Brenda has a wealth of knowledge to share. Many educators retire and step away, feeling that their time of service to the community and its teachers and students is complete. Brenda retired a short time ago, but wishes to apply all that she has learned and serve in a new capacity.
I urge you to cast a vote for her and give her the opportunity to lend her expertise to the Kannapolis Board of Education. She is committed to give her best and excited about the possibilities.
