City of Salisbury’s Traffic Engineering staff will be performing maintenance work to the traffic signal at West Innes Street and Jackson Street on Thursday.
The traffic signal will have to be dark (non-operational) for the majority of the work performed on this day. For this reason, the portion of South Jackson Street at West Innes Street will be closed to traffic. Local traffic only will be allowed within the 100 block of South Jackson Street to access properties within the block.
This closure is planned to begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday. It will last until the construction is complete for the day and the signal has been returned to normal operation. Engineers hope to have the road re-opened before 5 p.m.
