SALISBURY — Two people were charged with drug possession after a search of a Salisbury home.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted probation officers with the search, in which pills and a handgun were confiscated.

Tristan Nicole Bradshaw, 30, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Scheduled IV controlled substance (Alprazolam). He was issued a citation for simple possession of a Schedule II substance (Nucynta).

Darin Patrick Tratzinski, 53, of the 100 block of Andrews Ford Road, was issued a citation for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a report, the home belonged to Tratzinski, and Bradshaw was on probation.

During the search, officers found a glass smoking pipe, a marijuana cigarette, a digital scale and some marijuana on a nightstand in Tratzinski’s bedroom.

Officers searched Bradshaw’s room and confiscated several needles and spoons hidden under a mattress. Officers also said they found a yellow pill in a book bag.
