Today will be cool with a chance of rain this morning, but then we’ll begin a warmup that could take us to almost 80 degrees by the weekend.

We have a 50 percent chance of rain, mainly before noon. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 55. Winds will be from the east southeast at 5 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy and 40, with calm wind. Patchy fog will form after 4 a.m.

Tuesday will start with patchy fog, then become partly sunny, with a high of 64 and north wind at 3-7 mph. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy and 41, with north wind at 3-5 mph.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 64, with north northeast wind around 5 mph. Wednesday night will be mostly clear and 44.

Thursday will be warmer, with a high of 74 under mostly sunny skies. The low will be warmer, too, around 51.

Friday will be sunny and 78, a good day to sneak out early. The low will be 56, with clear skies.

Saturday will be partly sunny and 78. A 30 percent chance of showers is possible Saturday night, with a low of 59.

Sunday will have a 70 percent chance of showers. It will be cloudy and 70.
