The other day I saw in the Salisbury Post that C.C. Freeman had died. I never knew C.C. Freeman well but, first of all, the world lost a great human being.

When I was in high school, C.C. was in his 70s and subbing at East Rowan High School. He was a gentle human being, and he would always entertain us with his Elvis impressions. Though I never knew him well, I hope he rests in peace.
