Annual Thumb Pickers Convention March 9-10 in Statesville

STATESVILLE — The 2018 Annual Thumb Pickers Convention will be held Friday-Saturday, March 9-10 at the Hilton Garden Inn at 1017 Gateway Crossing Drive.
Friday 6-11 p.m. — Concert
Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.— Workshops and open mic
Saturday 6 p.m. — Concert
There will be a special tribute Saturday night in memory of the late, great guitarist Paul Hill of Salisbury. This is the fifth anniversary of the passing of Paul, who was a close friend and brother to Clay and Al Lunsford for almost 40 years, and helped start the annual Thumb Pickers Convention in Statesville.
