Amanda M. Ward
Amanda M. Ward received her Master in Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Cato College of Education on Dec. 16, 2017. Mrs. Ward is presently a third grade teacher at Millbridge Elementary in China Grove. She is also a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After graduating from ASU, she worked with Hampton Inn, Husqvarna, Lowes and Food Lion.
After hours of volunteering, substitute teaching and PTA at Millbridge Elementary, Amanda decided she wanted to become a teacher, rather than reenter the corporate world. She quickly learned that attending college with a family is much different than when she was a young, single college student! The students and parents at Millbridge Elementary are fortunate to have such a dedicated teacher who wants to help form the future of tomorrow.
Amanda is the wife of Andy Ward, mother of Tyler and Charlie Ann Ward, daughter-in-law of Mike and Julie Ward of Kannapolis, and daughter of Chuck and Carol Salisbury of Salisbury.
