NAACP to celebrate 109th year

SALISBURY — The Salisbury-Rowan NAACP chapter will hold a birthday commemoration Sunday.
“Celebrating 109 Years: Had It Not Been …” will start at 4 p.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 719 S. Caldwell St.
The speaker is Terrell Richardson, student body president at Livingstone College.
A reception will follow.
