SALISBURY — Celebrating the 25th year of Salisbury Academy, the Bloom in Celebration gala will be held March 17 at the North Carolina Transportation Museum.

This is the ninth annual gala for Salisbury Academy and will offer guests a festive evening celebrating the history of the experiential school.

Guests will enjoy live music, gourmet selections, and a live auction offering one-of-a-kind experiences and adventures, all in the historic setting of the museum’s Back Shop.

Part of the proceeds from Bloom in Celebration will go toward this year’s featured nonprofit organization, Apseed Early Education, a program that provides free access to early-childhood enrichment technology to at-risk parents, guardians, and children ages 4 and younger in Salisbury.

Bloom in Celebration funds will also go toward scholarships to the Broyhill Leadership Program, a multiday conference that prepares young people for roles as future community leaders. Salisbury Academy extends the Broyhill scholarships to students in Rowan-Salisbury high schools.
