SALISBURY — A Salisbury man remains in the Rowan County jail under a $250,000 secured bond after police investigators say a young girl came forward and said he touched her inappropriately.

Salisbury police charged Anthony Gary Doull, 27, with felony indecent liberties with a child.

The incident was reported Oct. 25. After an investigation, a warrant was issued and Doull was arrested Sunday.

The girl, now 5, was about 3 when the alleged abuse occurred. She told her father what happened.

Police investigators said Doull fondled the girl and then told her he would kill her if she told anybody.

Doull, who is originally from California, and the girl knew each other before the assault, authorities said.

Investigators said there could be more charges based on admissions from Doull.
