Rowan-Salisbury Schools closed again Friday. Optional staff workday.

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College classes canceled Friday

Kannapolis and Cabarrus County schools closed.

The opening night of “Doubt – a Parable” has been delayed until Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Lee St. theatre

Salisbury City bus services have been suspended today. City offices will open at noon.

Rowan County Cooperative Extension is closed again today.

North Carolina Symphony appearance for tonight has been postponed; a new date will be announced later.

Kannapolis: There will be NO garbage/recycling/yard debris pickup today. After assessing street conditions and the current low temperatures it would be unsafe from both a personnel and equipment standpoint.

Catawba College has cancelled all classes Thursday.

Hefner VA Medical Center is fully operational. Outpatient clinics will open at 10 a.m. Thursday. Staff report on time.

Meals on Wheels of Rowan is not delivering Thursday.

Power in Partnership Breakfast with Rowan County Chamber is canceled Thursday.

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College day classes are called off Thursday.  A decision regarding evening classes will be made by 3 p.m.

Rowan County Board of Commissioners‘ annual planning retreat canceled Thursday.

Rowan County government offices will open on a two-hour delay at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Rowan Helping Ministries Crisis Assistance on four-hour delay Thursday. Shelter and kitchen open as normal.

Schools systems closed include Rowan-Salisbury, Kannapolis, Gray Stone, North Hills, Davie, Davidson County and Lexington, Iredell, Stanly and Cabarrus, where high school students will be on a regular exam schedule when classes resume and K-8 students have a full day Friday.

YMCA branches across Rowan will open at noon, with no classes, nursery or child watch.
