SALISBURY — Partners in Learning was recently able to purchase a cloud donor database for a full year with a generous donation from Greg and Missie Alcorn.

“We are so excited about the ongoing support of the Alcorn’s. These funds will allow us to take our development plan to the next level and build our capacity for donors which will ultimately allow us to serve additional families,” Norma Honeycutt, executive director, said.
Partners In Learning depends on donations in order to provide essential educational and family support services to the community. Last year Partners in Learning served 547 children in the early intervention program; 123 caregivers received family support services; 264 teachers received technical assistance and training.

To be able to provide the multitude of services Partners in Learning employed 72 staff and relied on 1500 hours of volunteer services.

“We are making an impact one child, one family, and one teacher at a time. We are so thankful to Greg and Missie Alcorn, for their contribution to our fundraising efforts, which will allow us to make an even bigger impact in our community,” Amy Vestal, development and community inclusion director, said.
