SALISBURY — A 17-year-old mentally challenged girl is missing after she walked off with her dog about an hour ago.
Captain John Sifford said that Millers Ferry Fire Department and Rowan County Rescue Squad are conducting a search for her. A Rowan County Sheriff’s Office K-9 is also on the scene.
The girl is white and has black hair. She is wearing a black jacket, gray pants and pink boots. Her dog is either brown or black.
