The Salisbury-Rowan Choral Society’s concert, “Tales of St. Nicholas: The Art of the Gift” has been rescheduled to Friday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 pm at First United Church of Christ, 207 W. Horah St.

The concert was postponed due to bad weather over the weekend.

Catawba graduate Matthew Newton will direct  familiar Christmas songs: “Still, Still, Still”and “Fum, Fum, Fum,” and new tunes,“Ding-a Ding-a Ding” and “Season of Light,” plus “The Night Before Christmas” and a jazzy “Jolly Old St. Nicholas.” 

Please bring a new unwrapped toy for children served by Rowan Department of Social Services. This concert, supported by the Rowan Arts Council and the North Carolina Arts Council celebrating 50 years, is funded by the state of North Carolina and the National Endowment for the Arts.
